It is one of the famed "trulli" of Puglia's Valle d'Itria, an ancient type of domed, circular structure originally built by peasants from the abundant limestone that was at hand. Boasting eight cones, Casa Aqva is actually two trulli that have been fully restored and connected by an internal stone corridor.
